Achieving top Google or search engine ranking is incredibly difficult without making sure that your keywords are carefully researched and included in your meta tags.
So I have decided to produce a series of short videos, to help you.
Our first video focussing on how to ensure that your ‘keywords’ make the most positive influence on the search engines, resulting in higher ranking positions.
What are keywords:
Having selected your list of keywords, ( these are words that may be typed into the search engine by people looking for that product or service),

So we recommend at least
5 places here they can be effective.
1. keywords in your url( website address.)
For instance my clients key words were : washing machine repairs s & oven repares, so we purchased washing machine-ovenrepairs.co.uk
This has a significant impact in being found.
If you don’t need to feature your brand name in your address, why not condier purchasing a new url, but get good advice first
2. keywords in your title tag
Make sure that your keywords feature in yor title tag. Your title is found at the very top of your website browser. You have around a maximum of 65 characters to use
3. keyword density( correct amount of keywords in your content)
This is the number of times the key word appears on the page, and genral concencus is: Another very important factor you need to check. 3-7 % for major keywords is best, 1-2 for minor. Keyword density of over 10% is suspicious and looks more like keyword stuffing, than a naturally written text.
4. keyword in anchor text
Also very important, especially for the anchor text of inbound links, because if you have the keyword in the anchor text in a link from another site, this is regarded as getting a vote from this site not only about your site in general, but about the keyword in particular.
Soinstead of using a hyperlink of your website name ; farmercvopleys.co.uk, you use the keywords ‘buy meat online as the anchor text, but with the hyperlink pointing to his website.
5. keyword in headings ( H1, h2 etc)
One more place where keywords count a lot. But beware that your page has actual text about the particular keyword.
